Purpose Way-Baptism

We are so excited that you are taking this next step in your faith journey! Baptism is an outward expression of the inward change that happens when we say “yes” to Jesus. It is a public declaration of your faith and new life in Christ.

Romans 6:4 (NIV):
"We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead… we too may live a new life."

What to Expect

• Preparation: Wear dark clothing that you don’t mind getting wet. Bring a towel and a change of clothes.
• During Baptism: A pastor or leader will briefly share your decision, then gently lower you into the water and raise you back up as a symbol of being raised to new life in Christ.
• After Baptism: You’ll be celebrated and prayed for by our church family.

Next Steps

• Please arrive 1 hour before service for check-in and a short orientation.
• Invite your family and friends—they’re welcome to take photos and celebrate with you!
• If you’re baptizing a child, our team will provide additional guidance for parents.
